Yummy to my Tummy
Wrigley's Photo Shoot
Time gets away and I just realized today I hadn't taken any pictures since the 4th and it seems Wrigley has changed a lot since then.
The past 2 weeks he actually likes "tummy time" and now can hold his head up so well. He isn't in his swing as much now either because he leans forward in it. They change so quickly.

My 4th
Just felt like jabbering a little about my evening. Has been a quiet evening with just Wrigley. Troy has girls overnight...they went to the parade and are going to fireworks.
I was sad at first as I left Emersyn crying cuz she didn't want me to leave...that was so hard.
I think this is the first 4th of July I have ever been at home not watching fireworks.
I didn't even know that Macy's has a show on TV with fireworks.
I decided to give Wrigley some rice cereal for the first time tonight. I had been trying to hold off til he is 6 mos because I really want to continue nursing him and I have been worried about decreasing my milk supply. Also seems like most Dr's say wait til 6 mos now. But, he has still been getting up at LEAST 2 times a night and it is draining me. I know I should let him cry, but that is so hard to. So I decided to try to cereal tonight too when the girls aren't here smothering him and super excited to see him eat some food....they have been asking when he can eat.
So, anyhow I was AMAZED at how well he did...I think the boy is going to LOVE to eat. I remember the girls first times eating and they didn't actually eat hardly any of it cuz they don't have that "tongue action" down. Maybe it is also cuz he is month older, but he ate pretty much every bit I gave him which was probably close to 2 whole tablespoons. Then I could not believe how happy and ecstatic he seemed after. Well then I shortly also discovered he had a MAJOR blowout while sitting in his carseat. HUGE MESS. Gotta love that breast milk poo...Puddle in the corner of his seat...so needless to say that is in the wash right now.
So, I am hoping he sleep more tonight.
Well, gotta get to bed. I should have been cleaning tonight...but am procrastinating...Am working in the morning.

4th of July
This morning the kids and I went to our local park like we have done every year since living in Stewartville. They have fun activities for the kids and they look very forward to it.
Captain Kirby's train ride
Audrey tried to Bungee Run and loved it...I think that is what it was called.
I couldn't figure out how to delete this second picture quickly, so decided to leave it.

Grandma Time
My parents were here last weekend to see Audrey's play. They have been up a few times lately to support me and help with everything...they have been very helpful and I am thankful for them.

My neice Miranda with Wrigley. Audrey loved that she was able to come up with my parents for the weekend and she saw her play both times.

Tom Sawyer
Audrey was a River Rat in the play Tom Sawyer last weekend. She loved it and was so proud of herself. We of course were also proud of her. This was through a program called Prairie Fire Children's Theater. These ladies travel to different towns all summer and the kids try out and learn their parts in a week. They tried out Monday and performed it Friday and Saturday. Kind of amazing...it was a shorter version of the play, but they still did a great job.
Proud of her "make up face" at home afterward
Swimming
We have been able to go swimming at our new pool a few days this crazy summer. It just seems we have had such crazy weather and like summer is never going to be here to stay this year

Cheese
This is a bad picture since you can't see Audrey's face, but she loves the diving board and swimming. She joined swim team this year which I am glad for as I know it is going to greatly improve her swimmng.
