I have Survived

I am happy to report that I have survived a week of the kids being on vacation. Only one more night and less than 24 hours til I see them.
I really dreaded this week, but it has gone quite well.
I worked every day but 2 and went out to dinner a couple times after work, went to a movie by myself for the first time ever(Julie and Julia), went to the gym, met a friend yesterday in Northfield......which by the way I didn't know it existed and it has the cutest downtown with shops near the lake.

So I am proud of myself and hope this is an indication things will be getting better/ easier. The only meltdown I had was Saturday when I called the kids and Audrey gave the phone to Wrigley and he was babbling to me. Just made me really want to see him and hug and love all of the kids.

Thank God tommorrow I am off so I am sure we will have a fun filled day!!!!!!!!

This is just a quote in my daily Divorce Care emails: God is the Great Physician....He will restore you if you accept his care...

I THANK GOD FOR THIS MOST GLORIOUS DAY.......

Growing Up

Don't you love the toilet paper look mom????????

Wrigley still has an obsession with the toilet paper. He had this whole roll unrolled before I caught him. Many times the paper in our house is not on the holder for this reason!!!!

I just had a moment looking @these pictures when I realized how much he is growing up. He continues to look more and more like a little boy......where does the time go????

Wrigley loves riding in the Barbie Bug with his sister. This was last week when we took a little walk after he had a bath and his jammies on....

Clear Lake

Last weekend we went to ClearLake Iowa to the Beach with my cousin Ashley and her husband Brian. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. Unfortunately this is the lone picture I got due to problems with my camera.

Missing Kiddos

Just putting out some pictures of my three greatest blessings...These weekends without the kids feel like they drag on forever....I am missing them desperately and can't wait to pick them up after work tommorrow. Emersyn is my little buddy. She is so clingy and wants my attention a lot still which I will treasure as I am sure it won't last too much longer. She can say the funniest things. I can't believe she is going to Kindergarten.

Funny face....I could not imagine my life without Wrigley. He has brought me so much joy along with all the sorrow this past year. I couldn't ask for a more loving, happy little boy. Lately I pick him up and he just wraps his arms around my neck and hugs me. My other favorite thing is when he pats my back.

This was Audrey pretending to be me!!! She has on an old pair of my glasses and my work Nametag!!! I thank God for Audrey all the time. She helps me soooo much with her brother. I feel so blessed to be the mother to these 3. I can't believe she is going into 3rd grade. Audrey is my sensitive child, but is so caring and loving. This summer she has enjoyed reading a lot which I am so thankful for!!!

THANK YOU GOD FOR PUTTING THESE ANGELS IN MY LIFE!!!!Not saying my children are perfect angels by any means, but they put so much joy into my life!!!! I absolutely hate these weekends away from them and hope that it will some day be easier.......I truly treasure my time with them and am thankful I can work a little less to be with them more during the week.

Summer Fun

Funny face sitting in grass at Emersyn's tball game

Wrigley Peeking out of bike trailer. Emersyn, Wrigley and I have put a lot of miles on my bike with the trailer this summer. They really enjoy it and of course it gives me good exercise. Audrey goes with on her bike sometimes, but other times doesn't want to ride far and stays home for short amounts of time.

Em riding her bike by sprinkler. She learned to ride with no training wheels this summer and loves riding her bike. She is on it every day...unless it' s raining of course!!!

Audrey by sprinkler.....we haven't done this much as the weather hasn't allowed it!!!

Tball

Em with teammate and friend Ella

Emersyn enjoyed Tball. They are so funny to watch!!! These little ones of course don't have a very long attention span!!!

I'm doing some catching up from the summer. Tball has been over for a couple of weeks, but here are the pictures I took of Emersyn.

Emersyn's Tooth

Em lost her first tooth a couple of weeks ago. It seems a little early to me. I am sure Audrey didn't lose any til late in kindergarten. But, of course she was excited!!!
